On completion of endodontics treatment your patient will be returned to your care with specific recommendations for the completion of treatment. The tooth will be in a condition that makes it as easy as possible for you to carry out subsequent treatment. Post space is always best created at the completion of obturation and will be prepared if required. Patients in pain: Appointments are available with minimal delay and usually same-day treatment is possible, in case of emergency. Calming anxiety: Our team provides your patients with a caring approach, making treatment as comfortable as possible, with the option of relative analgesia (nitrous oxide) sedation. This popular aid to anxiety relief has proved very successful over the years in calming patients whose fear of dentistry may prevent them from having the right treatment and for those who have a gagging reflex. The effects are totally reversible at the end of the appointment and there are very few contraindications for its use. Patient reassurance: The Patient section of this site provides answers to the questions that most patients ask. Modern techniques: To obtain the best results for your patients, our practice uses the most modern and effective techniques. These include an operating microscope, nickel titanium rotary instruments, warm vertical condensation, gutta percha obturation, ultrasonics, rubber dam isolation and digital radiography. For more details, see Technology. Excellent coordination: We undertake all endodontic treatment on the basis that once work is completed, the patient will revert to you for ongoing dental care. Our practice will contact your patient periodically after treatment to carry out a clinical audit, at no extra charge. Tony will be happy to discuss restorative treatment plans with you and recommend other specialists in complementary fields if you so wish. He is happy to discuss problems with referring dentists by telephone. We accept radiographs, via e-mail in JPEG or Targa format, or via regular mail.
