When to Refer

If you are confident in carrying out endodontics treatment yourself, we can provide guidance by telephone, or letter. We usually need to see a supporting radiograph.
You may wish to refer your patient to us so that we can advise about treatment you will be undertaking yourself.

You may wish to refer a patient for a consultation. This may be because of difficult diagnosis or uncertainty about likely outcomes and long-term prognosis for the tooth.

You may wish to refer the patient to our London UK practice for specialist treatment that you are unwilling to carry out yourself. (see Advice)
